She only has violet eyes because those with violet eyes are usually if not always infertile and or with shorter life spans most commonly.

Personality: Gingersnap is a a nice-hearted cat but with a nice side dish of snark, with very little control over how she portrays her expressions. Without intention she can be sarcastic and angry seeming, of course this doesn't actually mean she doesn't get cranky or annoyed, mostly adopted by closer relatives. Though despite her hard to reign in expressions and nice and snarky personality she has a bit of a quirk. Gingersnap has Synesthesia, this allows her to associate words with a colour, like y may be blue and q may be blue. But these are cats so she associates objects with a colour, like mouse blue and cobweb green.

tbh I probably don't even know it's true for cats (haven't bothered looking it up buttt) people and or animals with purple / violet eyes are most commonly infertile and or have shorter life spans. This isn't always true for some but again, this is more common than not.

Approved conditionally. Gingersnap will have blue eyes that look violet in the right light.
