Appearance:
In terms of appearance, one would say that Rapidwater is quite the impressive creature. Standing tall, above many of his clanmates, he retains his proud and respectful image by holding his head up high and puffing out his chest in the company of others. The thick coat of long fur that covers the vast majority of his body, the longest being around his neck and belly, creates the false illusion that he is considerably stockier and somewhat pudgy, and while he is quite muscular is some regions, the reality of the matter is that he is no larger than that of the average feline. He often enjoys using this to his advantage during heated confrontations. Though it appears to be silky in some areas, his fur is soft to the touch, and a vast array of dark and light greys in color, shades streaking together to resemble a dark marbled effect. His chest, neck, face and paws are splashed with white, largely contrasting everything else, but the colors somehow work together quite well and is strangely pleasing to the eye. Focusing on the features, the first thing that is draws the eyes is his rounded face, semi-flat with defined cheeks and a medium sized dark brown nose in the center, located above this is his large eyes, rimmed with black, they are dull ochre in color with streaks of tan and dots of darker brown around the edges. Not too vibrant, but still outstanding in they're own way. On the top of his head is the largest feature of all, his ears. Huge and rounded at the tips, they add a few inches to his overall height. The paws he stands on are hefty, making it rather difficult for him to move stealthily, but the advantages it gives him when it comes to swimming and battle makes up for this. Attached to his paws are his equally hefty legs, thick and muscular as a result of regular exercise, stemming down from his broad shoulders. And last but not least, flowing behind him and mimicking the movements commonly associated with a snake, is his bushy white tipped tail. To summarize, he is a handsome brute.
Personality:
Upon first glance, one might mistake him for an elder. He definitely lives up to their grumpy reputation, snapping at and ordering others around as if he was a deputy or leader, and complaining under his breath about even the littlest of things. This does not mean he is not capable of affection, however. When in the company of someone he genuinely likes or is trying to impress for a multitude of reasons, his softer qualities come out from hiding, but for him to express his emotions and feelings is extremely rare and only those he places an extreme amount of trust in, which isn't many, will see this side of him.
