Meeting with her brother

"I wish she was here now..." Hawkpaw meowed. "I think she kinda looked like you too!" Hawkpaw lifted her paw and washed it. She unsheathed her claws to see if they grew or not. They did, almost as long as her whisker.

"Me too," he mutually replied, "and I didn't even know you were my sibling until I noticed your familiar pelt coloring..."

Hawkpaw sighed. "I still don't know what original clan we came from... ThunderClan or RiverClan?" She mewed. "What do you think?"

"Who knows? Our ancestors might've been spread our between the four clans for generations; there'd be no way to tell..."

Hawkpaw jumped into the river. There was a silent pause for a couple moments. Then suddenly, a fish sprang out of the water. Hawkpaw climbed out, her fur dripping, and turned to face Aurapaw. "Something for visiting me..." She meowed to her brother. "Bring it back to your camp."

"I-I can't accept this," he stuttered, nudging the fish back toward her with a paw.

"Why not? It's a 'thank you' from me." Hawkpaw looked at her brother, giving him a look with the expression, "take it! its for you!"

"They'd think someone was up if I brought it into camp-- wouldn't you rather share it with me here?" he proposed.

"Sounds great!" Hawkpaw mewed, jumping into the river and swimming to the other side.

"Here, you take the first bite," he offered as she swam over.

"Dont you want the first bite?" Hawkpaw mewed. "Your in ThunderClan... you don't get to eat fish."

"You're the one that caught it; we wouldn't even have it if it weren't for you," he meowed with a smile.

Hawkpaw looked at her brother, an expression of thanks in her eyes. She bent over and took a bite of the fresh kill
