Border Patrol ~ Open to TC Mentors and Apprentices

OOC: Since we're all so bored, how about a kangaroo badger comes and attacks, or something like that? Perhaps some SC cats show up? I have an apprentice there.

Turtlepelt marked the border and stood up straight. "Anything else we need to do?"

OOC: I know I'm not part of this topic, but I have an SC cat who could come with Shimmerpaw :D

OOC: Yes! SC, ATTACK!

OOC: You're coming, right, Mousepaw?

Shimmerpaw came out of the bushes with Mousepaw, ready to mark their border with ThunderClan. To her surprise, she found a patrol there. A ginger-colored tom, a tortoiseshell she-cat, and an apprentice she-cat. "Hello," she meowed, a little coolly. "How's everything with ThunderClan? You know, since you declared war on your border-mates last Gathering?" She hadn't really been at the Gathering, but she had heard about it from her mentor Leopardfang. And she trusted her friend and mentor's word.

OOC: Um... They're ShadowClan
//kills Flamestripe and blames it on SkC
Will edit with Turtlepelt/Shimmerpaw's answer as soon as that's fixed.

OOC: Oh, sorry. That was a mistake. I would edit, but I'm feeling lazy. Just pretend I said SkyClan ShadowClan.

OOC: Allrighty.

Turtlepelt eyed the ShadowClan cats suspiciously. "Agreed," she meowed. "It's none of your business, ShadowClan. That's between Spottedstar and Fishstar, so stay out of it." Then she followed Flamestripe.

Shimmerpaw snorted. "I'm concerned because after you've tried and failed to conquer RiverClan with your excess of untrained cats, you'll turn to ShadowClan next! I would very well call that our business. And if it's Spottedstar and Fishstar, why are you so outspoken about it? Being haughty changes nothing." Perhaps she was being too bold? No. She was the age of a warrior herself, and if the cats decided to be bossy and order her around, that was their problem.

OOC: I need to post too!

IC: Mousepaw snarled, "Go away, ugly scum!"

OOC: Sorry, I was busy...

IC: Rainpaw's eyes became bigger when suddenly some strange cats came to the border. Who are they? Flamestripe said something about ShadowClan and the last gathering. Okay, so they're from ShadowClan! But what happened at the gathering? I have no idea. The gray she-cat looked around nervously and waited if something would happen. They won't fight, will they? Rainpaw wasn't brave enough to talk to the ShadowClan-cats.
Flamestripe showed his claws and one of the ShadowClan-cats growled something not really nice. Rainpaw got angry, but she stayed quiet. It was not her decision what to do. She waited for Flamestripe's or Turtelepelt's reaction.

Turtlepelt hissed her agreement to Flamestripe's statements, moving in front of Rainpaw to protect the apprentice. "I can see why you're called ShadowClan. You're nothing but shadows of warriors, trying to be what we are!"

Shimmerpaw felt her fur bristle. "Is that a challenge?" she snarled at the flame-colored tom, an ugly sneer twisting his face. "Drag your ugly hide over here and I'll show you who's the strongest. You hide behind your trees and bushes, making half-baked apprentices into warriors, taking in any rogue or kittypet who so much as bats an eye in your direction! That's what you all are, kittypets! At least we know how to survive without trying to attack stronger Clans!" The glossy black she-cat spat at the tortoiseshell warrior. "We're called ShadowClan because we use the night! We are the night! ThunderClan relies on luck and daylight. We ShadowClan cats know true skill!" She unsheathed her claws and raised a taunting paw towards the three cats. "You're nothing but cowards."

Flamestripe snarled. "'Is that a challenge?' she says," he growled to Turtlepelt. Then he turned menacingly to Shimmerpaw and spat, "If you haven't already figured out that what I said was a challenge, you're more cowardly than what I thought! And I don't think we'll have to rely on luck and pathetic kittypets to beat you!"

He launched himself at Shimmerpaw, the cat that had thrown the most insults. That blind one that said 'take that back' is pathetic; a disgrace to the name of warrior. Shimmerpaw will be beaten by me, though it'll be harder to beat her than it is to beat Mousepaw! And I welcome a challenge.
