Appearance: A sleek black pelt, where his chest fur is silver-tinged silver-tinged and a bit wispy. He has pale, icy blue eyes.
Personality: Phantomkit is extremely headstrong, not one to back down from a fight, although he will try to use words before fighting, though, and will defend his Clan and Clanmates with his life. He is ambitious and sets the bar very high, and once he sets a goal, he will not stop until he achieves it. He is (surprisingly) very silent but very observant, which is what earned him the name Phantom (See Origins). Although he has somewhat of a hard shell, he secretly wishes that someone would see past it.
Origins: Phantomkit was born to a rogue called Ares, who fell for a spunky kittypet who didn't have a collar. Soon, the kittypet, whose name was Shiloh, became a queen, pregnant with a litter of two. The two were overjoyed, with the exception of a dark shadow hanging over Shiloh; she had seen the ways the twolegs would take the kits and give them to other twolegs, never to be seen again. So one night, she left her twolegs (she never really felt anything for them except for their scratches and the easy food) and searched for Ares, stumbling into the forest on uneasy paws, her enlarged belly swaying uncomfortably. The added weight made her wince, the occasional kick of sharp, tiny paws made her grimace, but on she padded until she found her mate. The way his russet-and-black pelt rippled under well-toned muscles and gleamed silver in the moonlight made her happy to realize that she would see him every day.
Not even a heartbeat later did her legs wobble and collapse under her, and she fell to the ground with a sudden force. The sudden noise made Ares whip around and see his mate lying on the ground, breathing hard and quick. The kits were on their way! He lay beside her and relaxed her with his presence, stroking his tail gently along her back. Soon, two kits were born to a tired but ecstatic queen. The scent of blood on the crisp night breeze soon attracted a badger. Ares was the first to scent it, and darted after the scent to protect his kits. Shiloh stayed behind, ears flattened, with her tail curled around her kits. Her heart was pounding in her ears, until the loud, terrified screech of a dying cat cut through it. Her world stopped. She couldn't... wouldn't... believe that Ares had died defending her and her kits from the badger. It just wasn't possible.
But as time passed, and Phantom and Misty grew older. Misty was bouncy and outgoing, while her brother was silent and observant. And Shiloh? She slowly accepted that her mate, the one she had loved so much, wasn't coming back. She raised her kits as well as she could, but after a bought of greencough caught both her and Misty, the two she-cats died, side by side on a cold leaf-bare morning. Phantom was heartbroken, but he couldn't bear to watch his mother and sister become crowfood, so on he traveled until he reached ShadowClan's camp. Nobody knew where the tom-kit had come from, the relentless snow and rain having washed away all of his rogue-and-kittypet scent. They only knew that the five-moon-old tom had arrived one freezing night in leaf-bare, looking for a place to stay.
