Dawww... Poor Cloudkit. Out of all the options, though, I think the deathberries thing would be the best way to go. Just thinking logically, the gorge is way too far away for a kit to travel from Skyclan (see Ash/Tansy's topic about killing Shimmerkit for reason why). As for another cat doing it, your best bet would probably to get someone from Thunderclan or someone else in Skyclan to kill him (Shadowclan I guess would be a choice too but I don't know who would do it) since Thunderclan hates Skyclan and maybe someone goes on a rampage in Skyclan? The only thing with Shadowclan is that SkC and SC are somewhat allies so... yeah. RC is also allies and WC hates SkC but they're both really too far away for the job.

Personally I think 2 is the best option. Not many cats would kill a kit, and I doubt one with her own would do that. coughcoughsalmon

And like Shadow said, the gorge is very far away and I'm curious as to how Shimmerkit managed to get there without being caught. It's a little unrealistic, but hey, talking cats.

The deathberry option isn't used as often in my opinion, and kits are very naive. It would be easy to say she ate them with no idea of the consequences. But, if you're looking for a more brutal death, you could try an animal attack. Foxes do like to steal kits, and I don't think anyone's done that yet. Just suggestions.

And every cat should know what deathberries look like. I'm pretty sure they learn it in their training, or even as kits sometimes.
