Cat, I like that you're opening up an art corner, really. However, if you're going to, please don't trace them... I noticed the inconsistency in your drawings, how they jumped in quality and immediately could tell. Like this one is a lot more anatomically correct than this one.
Like Grey suggested, simply use real cat stocks for reference~ They're easy to find too. >v<
Please try to draw without tracing and then try to take requests; even if it looks bad to you, at least you tried your best and people will definitely appreciate the effort over some work that you fixed the lines for. <3

Grey, the best way people learn to draw is my following the strokes of people that they view as better, and is the style they wish to learn. I started off that way, and many other people I know, and I'm sure you know did the same. I'm sure when Cat gets better at this, she'll split off with her own style. Consider tracing a building block. I hope you also remember that Cat isn't using gaining anything out of this. There is no money coming in from this. Only just a member who wants to work on her art skills.

Same goes with you Echo. Tracing may seem offensive, but in reality it is only for practice. While it isn't a good think to rely on doing, it still helps with hand and pencil coordination.

Now that being said, I do want you to know Cat; Tracing is frowned upon in the art community, and I wouldn't suggest copying any more. You can do it in private, but people like Grey and Echo will be there to scold you if you put it up publicly. So I'd only do it for practice. When you do something like this though, you should practice your own style! 8D

Since that should be over now, I'd like one.

I don't think they were upset just by the tracing, though. I think they were upset by the fact that they traced then advertised it as their own work. It is fine to practice with tracing, I suppose, so long as you don't mislead it as original then auction it off as your gift to others.

You can say she just forgot, but it is easy to blame memory for something you did once caught.
