Whitekit's first days

Whitekit wondered what was beyond the camp, which he explored only a couple times. He was interested in helping cats....But not by drawing blood, By stopping sickness! He started creeping towards the medicine cat den but stoped at the middle of the clearing. He looked up at the bright sky, It was so beautiful.

"Hey! Wait up!" Aurapaw called out as he spotted the young kit wandering around. "Whitekit, is it? You know you should be in the nursery! What're you doing out here?" Waiting for an answer or explanation, he took a seat beside the youngling.

Whitekit looked at Aurapaw,"I felt like stepping out for a little bit, It's not like I would go OUT of camp." Whitekit replied.

"Well, alright...but be more careful; if a fox or badger broke through the camp's defenses while you're "wandering around", you'd be in serious danger," he warned. "Just make sure someone knows where you are," he added, purring in amusement.

"m~k" Whitekit mumbled and started working back towards the nursery.

After momentarily pondering a thought, Aurapaw ran back up to Whitekit, calling out to him to wait. "Hang on; while you're out here, don't you think you should become acquainted with the others?" he winked suggestively, glancing around camp as he scanned it for active cats.

Leopardpaw sat in a patch of sun, grooming herself.

"Oy! Leopardpaw!" Aurapaw called out to the fellow apprentice.

Leopardpaw pricked up her ears. "Hey Aurapaw! Is that Whitekit with you?"

"Yeah! Why don't you come over and say hello? He's just dying to meet his new clanmates," he snickered, batting playfully at the kit's ear with a forepaw.

"Really?" Goldenfeather retreated from the fresh kill pile. "Hello, Whitekit!"

OoC: *imagines Aurapaw sitting by the fresh-kill pile looking suspicious before Goldenfeather bursts out from underneath all the prey and glomps him* O///O

Leopardpaw bounded over. "Hey Whitekit," she meowed.
