Practice..

Gingerpaw leaped and rolled over. She then caught her mentor and attempted to throw him to the side.

Ducksnap was rolled over and he grinned "Good job." He said panting.

"What's next?!" Gingerpaw leaped up and lifted her tail up.

"More practice of corse!" He snorted then asked, "Do you know how to belly rake?" He asked with a cock of his head.

"Nope! Teach me, teach me!" Gingerpaw leaped up and walked closer to her mentor.

"Of corse I will."he tried to match his apprentices excitement but only resulted in a lashing tail. "Now a belly rake is where you rake your opponents stomach. Keep your claws searched in bratice but you can be fierce in battle." He flicked his tail tip uneasily how was he to teach this apprentice? Her enthusiasm stressed his far more then normal. He felt like clawing the apprentice only to screech be quiet. Biting his tounge he narrowed his eyes and spoke. "Why don't you show me your best effort on belly rake." He nodded as to show he was ready.

"Okay," Gingerpaw replied confidently and ran towards her mentor. When she ran close enough, she quickly slid under her mentor and lifted her hind legs up. She then pretended to rake his stomach using her claws.

"Very well done." He paused and looked at her and smiled. He could not think of anything to complain about in which was a good thing. His pulse rippled through him and his eyes flashed then a slow smirk covered his stern eyes. "You have mastered such very good skills," he pondered then with a sigh continued. "I would make you a warrior now with great pleasure but you still need to have many more skills. Show me you best hunters crouch." His tail whipped from one side to another as he ordered the younger cat. He was right she needed to learn how to do a lot, and that was why she was here.
