Gingerpaw looked at Dapplepaw with affection in her eyes. "So now what?"

Dapplepaw shrugged. He couldn't think of anything to say, so he sniffed the air. "Hmm..." He said.

Gingerpaw got bored and placed her head on her paws. She slowly lied down and watched the territory. "Tell me when you're ready."

"Gingerpaw.... I smell something over there... And it's not a cat." He said, scaredly.

Gingerpaw's fur bristled when she heard what he had said. "Then what is it?" She opened her mouth to smell the scent.

Dapplepaw shook a little in fear. He tasted the air. "Badger," he whispered, not wanting anybody, especially the badger, to hear him.

Gingerpaw had scented badger. "We need to get it out! Do you think we could get it out by using our skills? If we cant do that, we could maybe drive it somewhere else?" She hissed to Dapplepaw.

Dapplepaw nodded. "I learned these when I was battle training." He said, crawling up a tree near the beast.

Ooc: This is a small fight, so I will not use the battle system.

Gingerpaw glanced at Dapplepaw before checking the wind. The wind was blowing towards her from the badger's position. She then climbed up a tree and went on a branch. She positioned herself to pounce. This was an advantage-- she was higher.

Dapplepaw watched as the stupid, fowl creature sniffed the air with- what was that?- "*gulp* cat blood...... He held his head high on the high branch. The wind was not flowing from him other badger, so he was okay. With all his might, he leaped onto the badger, unsheathing his claws, raking it's back.

As soon as Dapplepaw jumped down, a few seconds later, she jumped down with unsheathed claws. She had landed on it's neck and clawed its ears since it will bleed more-- like a cat's ear.

Dapplepaw fought beside his best friend. The badger shrieked and threw Dapplepaw into the center of a bush, making it easy to kill him. He had passed out from the sudden wind knocked out of him, and badger came over and-thankfully,- missed his neck, but got his shoulder with a razor sharp claw. Bleeding badly, the apprentice curled into a ball, silent.

Ooc: I am NOT killing him, we just need Nightfire, the medicine cat.

Gingerpaw growled and ran towards the badger. She leaped towards it with outstretch claws and landed on its back. She attempted to claw both of its eyes. "Get out you fool!"

Dapplepaw groaned, unsure of what just happened. He blinked his eyes slowly to see Gingerpaw fighting the badger. Groaning again, he closed his eyes, and he fell into a strange dream.

Gingerpaw soon fell off of the badger and got a cut on her hind right paw. She hissed and shook it off before leaping on the badger again. She began clawing deeply into its flesh until it surrendered.
