A new kit in camp

Moonpaw sighed and padded over to him. She picked him up and brought him back to his mother in the nursery. "I'll be back later so you can see me or Windpaw." Moonpaw left with Windpaw without another word.

" Thank you! " He squealed. ( do remember that he is not weaned yet. he can't see for about a moon

Moonpaw turned back only to nod. She kept on walking until she met up with Windpaw again.

Swiftkit simply laid down and waited for Moonpaw

Moonpaw walked back to camp with a rabbit in her jaws. She dropped it in the fresh-kill pile and Laid in a patch of sun outside her den.

Swiftkit, then asleep, rolled around. he meowed loudly, then fell back asleep

Moonpaw softly laughed. She padded to the den entrance to the nursery and laid down near it. Maybe Windpaw is right. she thought. I guess I'll stay this close to him...at least until he can see...

Swiftkit was flat on his belly, mewing softly

Moonpaw went in and laid by him, and tried to quiet his mewing. Maybe she could fall asleep too...Moonpaw yawned.

Swiftkit pawed at Moonpaw, looking for his mother. then he got up and followed Webheart's milk-scent

Moonpaw still laid there. "Keep going, Swiftkit." Moonpaw said softly. "You'll find the scent..."

Swiftkit found his mother and drank her milk

Moonpaw laid her head on her paws and closed her eyes. This kit's great. she thought. I just can't wait to see what he'll grow up to be.

he then laid down and fell asleep. it was almost moon high

Moonpaw slipped out of the nursery and back to her own den. She laid down again and fell asleep.
