Adders (Shadowclan Plot #1)

Jaybird awoke quickly. What the!? He thought,hearing this hissing sound. He peeked outside to see at least a dozen adders roaming camp "ADDERS!" Jaybird called through the camp.

"WHAT?!?!?!" Midnightpaw shouted as she skidded to a stop, almost running into a pile of adders.

Pantherpaw's sleep was disterbed when he heard Jaybird shout. He opened his eyes to see an adder slithering towards him. Fur bristiling he scrambled up the tree he was under. "Why are there a bunch o' adders in camp?!" he yelled at no one in particular.

"Gather kits and elders first!" Jaybird ordered "Don't leave anyone!"

"OK!!!" Midnightpaw said then shouted the same orders at Pantherpaw as she ran into the elders den.

Nightkit was playing outside the nursery when she heard Jaybird call. She sqeeked in alarm as an adder went strat for her "Help!"

Jaybird quickly scooped up Nightkit by the scruff and leapt to safety

Moonpaw didn't panic. "I want everyone away from the adders! No injuries today! We're low on cobwebs as it is!"

Pantherpaws blood went cold as her heard the kit shout. Seeing Jaybird grab her he stayed where he was.

The camp started to head out as the adders climbed over dens and rocks "Filthy Creatures..." Jaybird mumbled

There were a bunch of adders next to the tree Pantherpaw was in. He coulldn't find a safe place to jump or climb down from. Thinking quickly he broke a small branch next to him and threw it down. The adders went after it and he quickly jumped down rushing towards camp entrance

As Midnightpaw made sure all the Elders were out of camp,3 adders cornered her. "Oh No.." she whispered as they closed in.

Pantherpaw saw Midnightpaw backed up by the adders and broke a stick from a near by bush taunting the adders so she could excape
