The ferns rustled and a dark shape ran through behind the trees. Another figure appeared, closer to Featherpaw. "Hey, wait up!" Moonpaw called. "Father, wait!" She stopped to take a breath while the other cat kept running through. "Hi...Featherpaw..." she was able to say. "Who's this? Graystream?"

"I'm Moonpaw. I'm the WindClan apprentice." She bowed her head in greeting. She looked toward the place where her father disappeared. "I'm never going to catch up with him. He's so fast and strong. He's probably long gone by now."

"Resting with some friends!" Moonpaw called back. "Sorry. That's my dad for you. Always worrying about me because I'm his last living kit."

My Father's parents were...let me think..." Moonpaw paused to ponder her thoughts. "Swiftheart and Icefur. I know they were from RiverClan..."

"These are your friends?" "Yep." Moonpaw replied. "Featherpaw and Smudge. So...who was your father?" she asked, turning back to Featherpaw and Smudge.

All I remember from seeing her last was that she left you with the Clans and had two little ones following her."
