What are the duties of a medicine cat: Medicine cat's have simple duties, yet they come off as truly difficult. They are the ones who heal and take care of their clan, treating them all equally as if the good of the clan was how a queen would treat her kits. When leaders and deputies make decisions, they usually ask for the advice and wisdom of a medicine cat. A medicine cat is like a spiritual deputy to the leader, helping them guide the clan in the right path. Medicine cats also act as a connection to StarClan for the clan. Interpreting signs, they usually tell the leader once they've figured what the omen means, usually as a warning StarClan has given to them. Many medicine cats are considered trustworthy, honest, and wise. They do not battle the other clans nor hold the grudges that many warriors hold against the other clans. For some businesses, the medicine cats are able to travel to other clans to speak with other medicine cats. Medicine cat apprentices follow and learn from their mentor. When they first visit the Moonstone, they start their connection with StarClan. The mentors will decide when their apprentices are fully trained, their mentors will give them their full name. However, they will not take on full duties until their mentor dies.

What you would do with this position: Following all the duties required for medicine cat apprentices, I would heal the clan and be ready to post whenever possible, and as quickly as possible. I would also make sure that all injuries are tended to as well as give the right advice to leaders when asked about what's best for the clan. When becoming a medicine cat, faith cannot waver and falling in love is not allowed for a medicine cat must care for the clan equally.

Why you think you deserve this position: I was previously a medicine cat as Silentfeather, and I think I did a good job, even if it was only for a short while. I'm active and continuously try to post when possible. I'd fulfill all requirements for training and be responsible with the power, not abusing it. Also, I will contain the responsibilities that a medicine cat would hold, being ready and prepared when needed.
