Drought and Floods

Drought.
Floods.

In the heat of Green-leaf, the river dries up. Prey grows short for all the Clans. Bellies are empty and tempers are high, much like Leaf-bare with more heat. To find the cause of the drought, each Clan sends out two cats. (They will be decided here.) The deputy, leader and medicine cat cannot go; neither can elders or new apprentices. But senior apprentices and warriors of all status are welcome to be chosen. So the day after this is approved the drought will begin, and the day after that the four leaders will gather at Fourtrees. They will argue and eventually come to the conclusion of sending cats. The cats will be chosen in separate topics at their respective camps, then go to Fourtrees once both cats in every Clan have been chosen. The cats will bicker there for a minute, probably, decide a leader for that time, then a new topic will be started for them following the course of the River. When they return they will report that they could not find anything, and they must wait for the rain to come. When it does come, a day after the eight cats return, it comes in gallons and floods RiverClan territory.(if any other territories would be flooded besides ThunderClan, post below) Without being able to hunt they seek refuge with ThunderClan, and can only wait until the floods go down.

Then maybe the cats at the ThunderClan camp don't get along or the prey runs out and they have to venture into the flooded area.

I don't know about this... RiverClan just invaded ThunderClan. ShadowClan just invaded ThunderClan. I'm pretty sure more invasions will be coming soon. This might spoil that, because it is inevitably going to force all of the leaders to cooperate instead of strangle the life out of each other.

Perhaps one day soon, but not now, so we'll have to put it aside.
