Duskkit is an obedient little kit. He follows directions and tries not to think about leaving camp. The kit's dream is to be a big, strong warrior to be able to fight for his clan. He has high ambitions, and will somehow find a way to achieve them.

Duskkit wandered through the camp, every once in a while scratching at the dirt when he saw a shadow. Scurrying past him came a beetle, and one he thought had no chance. Of course, he thought wrong. He leaped up and came crashing down, landing his paws where the beetle was. To his surprise, the beetle had saw his shadow and had hustled into a nearby crack in a rock.
The little kit growled and turned away, ashamed. Now that he had used a lot of his energy, he felt like taking a long nap. Duskkit dragged his paws into the nursery and into his moss nest. As much as he felt the wanting to continue exploring, sleep dragged him under.
