Jay's Challenging Subject Challenge Redux

Last time, this didn't work out well, but I want to try again. Welcome to my Challenging Subject Challeng, where I put stuff to right s short story about and you struggle to do so. Why do you struggle? Because said subjects are absolutely random! :D
Yes. I come up with random things off the top of my head and you need to write up a little story for each subject that focuses around each subject. YOU MUST DO THIS IN YOUR OWN TOPIC! Stories must also be at least 5 paragraphs long.
I will probably try this time, but here are the twenty subjects in the challenge:

19.) Mercury (planet or liquid. Any would do.)
