EDIT: After playing it (and naming my Tepig, Snivy, and Oshawott Bacon, Leather, and Fur Coat respectively) I felt disgusted. It's abundantly clear that PETA is a messy piece of shet permanently stained onto our carpets that we're just going to have to live with, but after they attack Pokemon, (specifically a Pokemon game that deals with the relationship between trainer and Pokemon as one of its central themes) it's just sad that an animal rights activist group has to beg for attention like this by attacking a beloved children's series.

In a way I feel depressed that we have a real life version of Team Plasma nagging us with faulty logic, yelling at me not to eat Magikarp and not to wear boots made out of Krokorok, but with no actual Pokemon in this world to balance it out.

Eh, I'm not a big pokemon fan, but as Sleepy said, they shouldn't be so mean towards a children series known and loved for many years by thousands of children. I can bet any of you there will be a riot, big or small, coming for their houses as they sleep x)

This is just sad. They probably didn't even do legitimate research before jumping to conclusions that trainers were 'cruel' and that the Pokemon 'suffered.' As Sleepy pointed out, a main theme constantly recurring within the Pokemon games is the bonds established between the Pokemon and its trainer; when rivals are mean to thier Pokemon, they make a point to finally understand that it's about being friends and trusting and caring for eachother, not strength, even if it does come at the end. Now that the newest game has come out, we see that the rival, Hugh, deeply cares about his Pokemon and will constantly flip out if you beat him, thus showing his protectiveness over his Pokemon. Even and especially in the anime/cartoon, you'll see Ash almost always worried about Pikachu and his other Pokemon. I don't ever see any one of them chained up, not like this parody suggests. If anything, it's false advertising. They have alot of guts if they're willing to just come outright and hate on such a popular game such as Pokemon.
