Regular Day In The Territory

Frogleap padded out of camp, going for a walk. He padded by the gorge, wondering how many cats have died there. He sat down, looking across the border. He kept a look out for herbs too.

Stormstar was on the other side of the gorge, wanting to take a small trip away from the camp and the work he had now. His ice cold eyes flickered up at Frogleap, and smiled. "Frogleap!" he called to his friend. But, of course, the RiverClan medicine cat wouldn't know that he is now leader, mostly that Stormstar wasn't deputy at all.

Frogleap perked his ears, looking over. "Hi, Stormeye!" He purred. "How have you been?"

"Great!" The WindClan leader meowed, letting out a laugh. "But it's Stormstar now. I'm leader."

The medicine cat's eyes widened with surprise. "Leader? Congratulations! But wait...does that mean Runningfoot and Butterflystar are dead? Or maybe retired?" He asked. He looked more curious rather than secretive, and even if he wanted to he wouldn't go tattling saying they have a new leader to make them look weak. THAT IS NOT HOW LE FROG ROLLS...

Stormstar shook his head, sighing. "Well...Butterflystar is dead. Runningfoot retired, you could say. The death of her mother was just to much it seems..."

"Ah I see. I'm sure she'll feel better eventually. Have you got a deputy in mind?" Frogleap asked, tilting his head. "I bet you have a lot of good warriors to choose from."

Stormstar nodded. "I already have an deputy! I made Ravenfeather my deputy. She is the best she-cat for the job."

Frogleap nodded in agreement. "I'm sure she's a fine choice. You'll make a great leader." he mewed happily. "I'm out here taking a break from camp. What are you doing out here alone? Or at least I don't see anyone with you..."

"Doing the same," Stormstar said, smiling. "Being leader is hard work. I had to get away from the camp for a second, so I came here."

"Aw don't worry. It'll get easier." The medicine cat laughed. "Especially since the clans are at peace for the while. We have nothing to fight over."

Stormstar sighed. "For now, but something is going to come up at some point."

Stepping out of camp after bringing back two field mice, Runningfoot took a deep breathe of air. She was headed towards the gorge. Her favorite place to sit and think. Seeing two cats sitting in the distance, but picked them out to be WindClan and RiverClan, she settled. Her pace picked up a bit to see Stormstar and Frogleap sitting and sharing tongues. "Hello there" Her voice echoed in the darkness of the split of the earth.

Frogleap shrugged. "Well let's enjoy it while it lasts, right?" He purred, smiling in that way cats smile o3o...

"Say, have you seen any herbs along the border? While I'm out here I might as well get some for on my way back." He asked, looking around while tasting the air for herbs.

Then he saw Runningfoot. "Hello there. You're Runningfoot, aren't you?" He asked politely.

Stormstar turned to Runningfoot, dipping his head. "Hello, Runningfoot," he meowed to the ex-deputy. The large grey tom turned his head to Frogleap, shaking his head. "No, I don't think I have, but then again, I am a leader, not a medicine cat. I don't know herbs."
