seeing a mouse Nightpaw lightly chased after it. When it stopped to nibble on a nut Nightpaw pounced, the mouse tried to run but he extended his claws and held him down. Nightpaw leaned down and gave it a nip to the neck. "well that turned out messy, but hey it's my first kill.". Nightpaw began to eat the mouse slowly.

She looked at the empty burrow and then ate the plump mouse.
Then she noticed her mentor staring at her madly and signaling to go back to camp.
Nightpaw looked over at her friends hunting.
