Frostpaw's hunting training

Hawkfeather walked out of his nest it was dawn. He went over to the fresh-kill-pile and got a bird and ate it. Then he waited for Frostpaw to eat and join him.

Frostpaw bounded over "Hey Hawkfeather! What will we be doing today?" she asked,cheerful as always.

Hawkfeather purred. "Training, hunting training." He said. "You're my first so I thought I could train you the best." He said, getting up walking into the forest.

Frostpaw followed "Oh! Embereyes taught me the hunter's crouch!"

ic: Embereyes came over. 'Can I join? I don't really have anything to do...'

Hawkfeather nodded. "Sure, but Frostpaw, don't be a chatter box with Embereyes." He joked, poking her with one paw.

Embereyes nodded. 'So, let me guess, we're doing Hunting?'she said.

Frostpaw purred and rammed into Hawkfeather "It's you we'll have to worry about" she purred.

Embereyes nodded. 'Oh yes.'

Hawkfeather purred and his eyes were not fun and games any more. "Okay, show me your hunting crouch." He flickered his tail.

Frostpaw crouched down, her fluffy tail barely above the ground and her paws tucked in. "Like this?" she tried to remember.

Hawkfeather nodded, pushing down her back a little more, putting her ears down and neck a bit out. "Now keep like this and you'll be on your your way." He said, getting into a hunting crouch and jumping on a long grass, "Now you do the same." He said.

Frostpaw copied Hawkfeather "Can I hunt now?" she piped up

Embereyes watched. She shook her head, 'Penitence. You need to still learn how to stalk.'

"You just creep forward ! Like this!" Frostpaw quietly crept across the forest floor,just like she remembered.
