Clan Announcement~

Silverstar paced around her den for a few heartbeats and then jumped up to the top of Highrock. After listening to the usual buzz of the camp, she'd decided to take action.
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!"
She summoned.

Wispcloud padded out of the Warriors' Den and sat down in front of HighRock, looking up at Silverstar. What's all this about? he wondered, blinking a few times.

Emberpaw crept out of the medicine den, her fur blazing like fire in the sun. What could this be? she thought to herself. Emberpaw sat down a tail-length away from Wispcloud.

ooc: i didn't see this XP

Honeypaw walked out into the open, a little tired. She felt like she would pass out at any moment, trying to stay awake. She found herself sitting next to Wispcloud. All she thought of was Where's Waldo Brownpaw?

OOC- LAWL!

IC- Wispcloud licked her ear, trying to wake her up. "C'mon, wake up, Honeypaw. This could be exciting." he meowed, flicking her gently with his tail.

OOC- Dude, when are you going to post on the vigil? Your letting it rot..

Silverstar layed down on the large rock, her forepaws hanging over the edge. She was completely relaxed, signaling to her Clan that nothing too serious was happening.
"As you know, we are in the wonderful season of Greenleaf. This means more plentiful prey." She became more serious, and there was a hint of a growl in her next words. "I've noticed warriors and apprentices just laying about in the days, instead of putting their skills to use." She relaxed again, her tone back to normal. "We should be taking advatange of StarClan's gift of Greenleaf and be catching as much prey as we can before Leaf-bare. Duskfur," Silverstar flicked her tail in the dark warrior's general direction. "I want you to double the hunting patrols." She paused, letting her words sink in before she continued to speak. Hopefully the apprentices- and Wispcloud- would take this to heart and work more.


OOC: I chose Wisp at random, don't flip out :P But yes, since it's summer, we should be catching more prey.

Emberpaw tilted her head. "Does that mean the medicine cats will learn to hunt?" she asked.

ooc: I just had to say waldo

Honeypaw just sat there, looking at the leader like she was a zombie.

ooc: what do you mean letting it rot? I thought it was the end...

OOC- No, Fire never came to announce that Wisp was relieved from his vigil, so, it's not dawn yet and Wisp is stuck in a vigil.

Ooc: OH! Forgot sorry

"Learning to hunt is not required but is a skill you should invest your time in." She answered firmly. "I also want double border patrols, since warmer weather and surplus of prey usually means more problems. Now, onto the next matter of business: the past few deaths of our Clan members." She continued to adress the rest of the Clan. Her tail was flicking side to side. "I've noticed that the last three deaths were either foxes or dogs. It is clear that our warriors are not learning how to defend themselves well enough. If cats can't defend themselves, they can't defend their Clan. No apprentices are to leave camp without a warrior. Warriors must take atleast one other cat with them before leaving. And each person is required to brush up on their fighting training- those who have not learned how to fight must be especially careful." She was clearly not amused by her Clan members failing to protect themselves.


OOC: Dusky. Why aren't you posting? D:<

"Of course. Brownpaw knows for sure how to hunt now- Brownpaw is good at it. I'll make sure we get more apprentices hunting, Silverstar." Duskfur dipped her head.

OOC: I APPOLOGIZE! Do I get my sushi now? And Fire... if you guys are talking about a Vigil for being a Warrior, we just say we sat through it. We never do a Vigil topic -.-

ooc: I know but if someone makes a topic why let it die? XP

"We can't forget to get those battle moves checked. Duskfur, I'll leave you in charge of that. This announcement has been concluded."
She jumped down from the Highrock and padded into her den as the other cats dispersed.
