Foxpaw slept soundlessly in her nest in the apprentice den, snuggled up in the moss.

Bluepaw padded wearily into the apprentice den. He tripped over Foxpaw, doing a roll into his nest. "Owwwww." he moaned quietly.

"Hey! Watch it!" Foxpaw growled, but quietly so she wouldn't wake anyone.

"Sorry, Foxpaw." he whispered. "You okay?"

Foxpaw looked up, not noticing it was Bluepaw. "Oh... err... Yeah... Fine"

Bluepaw rolled onto his belly, quickly grooming his fur before laying his head on his side. "What's up?"

"Oh, nothing much" Foxpaw looked at him. "Just waiting for my warrior ceremony."

Blupaw cocked his head to the side. "How come you are so far ahead?" he questioned, nicley.

"Because I train more" Foxpaw answered. "What do you think I did in the medicine cat den when Willowstream and Longpaw weren't in there?"

"My mentor won't take me out very often..." Bluepaw sighed. "I won't be a warrior 'till forever."

"We can go out and I can show you some stuff" Foxpaw suggested. "That may make you satisfied."

"Sure!" Bluepaw said happily. "You're a really good friend!"

"Thanks!" Foxpaw purred, padding out beside him.
