Hawkpaw and Emberpaw, just being together.

Emberpaw nudged Hawkpaw awake one morning. 'Hawkpaw.' she whispered.

Hawkpaw turned, lifting his head, "Yeah, Ember." He mewed. blinking the sleep out of his eyes

Emberpaw nuzzled him. 'I found somewhere that no one knows about.'

Hawkpaw nodded. "Okay, lets go." He mewed stepping over Coldpaw and Sunnypaw.

Emberpaw led. She went into the brambles by the Leader's den, revealing a short tunnel. She let her tail go low so that he knew where she was. When they were out of the tunnel, it opened up into a misty place, with a waterfall. 'Isn't amazing? There's lots of fish.'

Hawkpaw's eyes were wide in amazement, "Wow!" He mewed, his sounds echoing. "You know Ember, I've never tasted fish." He mewed

Emberpaw smiled. 'Well, now you can. I made our own fresh-kill pile. it'll stay small, because I figured we won't spend much time here.' she gestured with her tail to the pile with some fish. 'I also made a nest big enough for both of us to fit in. Just encase we fall asleep white we are here.' She chuckled, and fetched a silver Catfish for him.

Hawkpaw bent down and tried to take a bite of the fish, but it fliped and slapped him in the muzzle. "Ugh! You dumb fish, just for that you going to die!" He yowled biting down in the fish's side. It kept wiggling and getting out of his mouth. "I'll kill you!" He mewed. Soon it died. "Oh, and Emberpaw, thanks for every thing." He mewed, "Come here and share this fish with me." He tapped his tail were Emberpaw should sit.

Emberpaw laughed when he was fighting the fish. She came over and sat where he showed. She took first bite of the fish.

Hawkpaw took a bite of the fish, "I killed it!" He mewed playfully.

Emberpaw looked at him after swallowing her bite, 'Did you forget about She-cats first?'

Hawkpaw glared at her, playfully. "No." He said. "I'm just not that kind." He said pouncing on Emberpaw, playfully.

Emberpaw laughed. she rolled out of his grasp, playfully. 'I thought you were.' She purred, and pounced on his tail playfully.

"Well, think again, Love." He swiped his tail on Emberpaw's face. He pounced, pinning her down. Then licking her nose, and getting off her.

Emberpaw sneezed when his tail came to her nose. Emberpaw smiled and licked his nose back. She yawned and gestured with her tail to the nest that she was getting tired.
