| He caught the third finch in his jaws and dropped down, burying all of his prey with his robin. One more to go! He thought. Racing off in another direction, nose in the air, he quickly picked up the scent of squirrel.
A mother squirrel was lying lazily in the sunshine, round and plump with soon to come kits. Coldpaw crouched, having no mercy for any prey, and pounced... ______________________________________ |

| The mother squirrel was about to shriek in alarm as a flash of white enveloped her, but it was too late. Her body snapped between his strong jaws, and the mother squirrel went limp. Coldpaw proudly carried the squirrel to his other prey, dug them up, and set her down on the top. "Done." He mewed simply, looking around the tree tops for Raincloud.
