Hawkpaw's Hunting Training

Bramblestar waited at the entrance of the camp for Hawkpaw so that they could do some hunting training.

Ooc- So late
Hawkpaw came running to Bramblestar, "Are we doing training?" He mewed purring happily

"Yes we are. Let's go." he said as they went to the training place. "Today we're going to do hunting training. Show me your hunter's crouch." he commanded

Hawkpaw bent down his tail was up a little bit so that he would not hit any thing a scare off the prey. His tail was also stuck out like a twig. His ears were down, his head low, and his legs tucked in. "how's that?" He mewed.

"Great, just get down a bit more and your perfect." he purred. "Now, show me how you stalk." he mewed

Hawkpaw bent down more lower and moved slowly kind of dragging his feet to sound like a snake.

"Great, don't drag your feet to much and you did a great job stalking quietly." he praised him. "Stalk that flower." he said

Hawkpaw nodded still not talking and he moved over to the flower, but his right ear was making it harder to hear Breamblestar talking. Hawkpaw jumped on the flower, and bit the stem.
Ooc- If you read my plot of Hawk's life then you'll see that he has hearing loss in one ear

ic- Bramblestar looked at Hawkpaw, "Not bite the stem, stalk it then pounce on it." he said a bit louder. "It's ok, everybody makes mistakes." he mewed trying to cheer Hawkpaw up

"Oh" Hawkpaw mewed. He walked back over to BrambleStar and started over, He moved slowly to the flower and pounced on it. He shook his head the hearing not getting any better. Hawkpaw knew his hear was losing hearing. He remembered his mother talking that it ran in the family.

"Great job" Bramblestar praised his apprentice. "Do it again and make sure that you make no sound when you are stalking it." he said

Hawkpaw backed up once again to Bramblestar. He moved slowly not making a sound then... He pounced on the flower.

ic: "Good n-" he abruptly cut off when he heard a bird nearby. He went in a hunter's crouch and signaled for Hawkpaw to get down to. He expertly and quietly stalked it until he pounced...
