RiverClan's New Deputy

Sure, it had taken some thinking, but now Moonstar was ready to pick the next deputy for RiverClan. The leader jumped up on to the highstone and held her head high, before calling to her clan with the usual words, "Let all those old enough to catch their own prey please join beneath the highstone for a clan meeting." Then she sat, flicking her tail and waiting for everyone to come.

Pantherclaw exited the warrior's den with a little smile placed on his face. He had rested well the night before and he was ready for another long day. Taking a seat by Hopeclaw, he looked up at their leaders with curious eyes.

Seeing the chosen cat in the clearing, Moonstar decided to go on. ""The time has come to appoint a new deputy. I say these words before StarClan, that the spirits of our ancestors may hear and approve my choice. Hopeclaw will be the new deputy." She announced, looking down at the she-cat with a light smile in her eyes.
