|  Once upon a time lived a man with the ability to read minds. It ran through his family from generation to generation for as long as any could remember. As time passed, he fell in love with a woman of a different gift- the gift of incredible strength. They soon got married and were blessed with a young daughter. However, both families were in full debate of which power their child would inherit. Little did they know the small girl was born with a terrifying ability, a slight twist on both gifts- fear induction. Both families rejoiced at the discovery of a new gift, but the joy soon came to an end as their daughter quickly traumatized several members from each family, sending them straight to the mental hospital. The families wanted the girl's head.
The father quickly became obsessed with trying to find a way to suppress the power of her daughter, an attempt to protect his new-found family. The objective of his experiments gradually diverted from suppression to absorption. After years and years of searching, he came to the point where he found something which would maybe transfer her ability to him without killing her, hoping for his daughter to live a normal life. A life where no one would fear her amazing gift.
Bringing his now five year old daughter into his lab, he began preparations for the ritual; However all the chemicals and tools surrounding the little girl frightened her, involuntarily triggering her ability. Screaming, he grabbed his head in pain, shut his eyes and begged for it to stop. Quickly taking action, he grabbed the nearest item then grabbed at his daughter. Everything went black. The pain stopped. Ever so slowly did he open his eyes to find his daughter lying in a pool of her own blood. A small light bulb turned on his mind as he bent down to slurp her blood off the ground- an attempt to mix her DNA with his own.
Hours later did the mother come home and as soon as she found out what had happened, she threatened to leave him. However he was two steps ahead of her, shooting her with a drugged dart. Setting her body down on the couch, he made plans to move to the country side, away from everyone; Somewhere where he could protect his loving wife from their families, from those who feared them, from those who wanted to use them.
Living in a mansion on the country side, he realized many others with gifts or powers or abilities lived out there, many much stronger than him. His wife laid next to him, deep in a coma from the many drugs he gave her to keep her by his side. Feeling the need to protect her, he planned once more, turning his mansion into a school for humans with a variety of powers from ages thirteen to eighteen, where gifts and abilities were at their peak.
During the ten months school was in session, the only classes he had a requirement for was to train their powers to the highest point. Each did as they were told willingly, hoping to control their birth gifts by the time school finished. However, by the time the final exams hit, he had his 'test examiners', the guardians he called them, take care of the lot. The guardians persuaded many of them over the school year if they had a negative image of the school and befriended them, guiding them to the headmaster's hands. Most of them believed them, heading into the headmaster's office willingly. Soon their DNA was drained of any gift and added to the headmaster's own. Those then had their memories altered by his secretary whom also added the contents of what they were supposed to have learned during their school year and removed any recollection of rebellious students. Those who held any suspicion of the school and rebelled were instantly killed off by the guardians as soon as they broke away from the group.
A new school year is starting. Like the previous years, the guardians meet the students at the gate, some posing as senior returnees, others as newcomers, all asked to 'teach' some days of class. Unlike other gifted schools, they all travel as a group, using the portal in the common room to get to an isolated island where classes are to be held. However, the island is a dangerous one, containing powerful beasts, huge insects and even other races, all of which are to be avoided. On the other hand, the island holds a great treasure. Deep within holds the body of the headmaster's wife and the secrets to defeat the headmaster.Join and... Stuff. Kay. I'm done with this ad now. Hint: The URL is the picture. | The second class is tomorrow! Well, technically today. It's still like, four in the morning here and I'm running out of 24 packs of coke so I still consider it the 20th.
The first class involved three giant lizard monsters that broke more legs than an impatient Sicilian, so the Guardians (Wanting to avoid you all looking like the aftermath of a gerbil in a speedbag full of glass) have decided to bestow you all with weapons for the second.
And after that you all get to beat the living snot out of each other because we know that you're all savages.
Oh, and there's a member sweep coming to push all the inactive characters into storage like an OCD housewife.
Why am I giving you updates on here?
