Stormwing sat at the entrance of skyclan camp, waiting for kitties to begin filing up to go on an awesome border patrol because she's in it today.

Raincloud padded out to where Stormwing was waiting. "Hello Stormwing," she greeted her former apprentice.

Brambleclaw strode out into the the clearing with his fur all groomed and stuff and padded towards the two she-cats. "Good morning Raincloud, Stormwing." he said

Stormwing dipped her head politely. "Good morning! Anyone up for some hunting?" She purred.

Lilypaw padded out of the meddie den "May I come, I'm running out of cobwebs?"

"Of course. I'd like to head down to the fallen oak since no one has been around there in a while, so we can hunt and smell any scents at the same time. Is there any herbs you'll find useful there?" Stormwing asked, tipping her head.

"Mostly cobwebs lots of spiders like to make webs in the fallen oak" she said

Stormwing nodded in agreement. "Alright, three cats should be enough for a hunting patrol, and Lilypaw can tag along to collect cobwebs or herbs. Everyone ready? Raincloud, you're deputy, so you can lead if you like." She meowed politely, dipping her head to her former mentor and taking a step back.

Raincloud nodded and padded out of camp, flicking her tail for everyone to follow.

Lilypaw padded after her mother/deputy and wrapped her paw in every patch cobwebs and grabbed every herb she could find.

Stormwing took up the rear of the patrol behind Brambleclaw, ears perked for any signs of enemies or prey.

Brambleclaw, like Stormwing, also had his ears perked up hearing for any signs of danger. Instead, he heard a sound from the undergrowth which ended up being a mouse nibbling at a seed. He signaled for the patrol to be quiet and stalked the mouse until he pounced...

The fat little mouse didn't notice anything so Brambleclaw easily caught it and brought it down with a swift blow to the spine. He then buried it back so that he could get it back later.

Raincloud paused and waited for Brambleclaw to finish burring his prey. When he was done she continued leading the group of cat's to Thunderclan border.
