Exploring the border

There was a flash of dark grey as Stormpaw tripped over himself trying to get away from the Thunderpath as a monster raced past him. He landed on his back with a thud, and glanced with wide eyes at the Thunderpath, confused at what just happened. He had never seen something like that before that close up, as the two times he went to ShadowClan territory he never saw a monster as the Thunderpath had always been quiet. He got to his black paws slowly as the ground started to rummble. Soon, another monster raced past him, causing the tom to couch down. He sat there as monsters raced past him, his eyes fixed on the ShadowClan border, wondering if he would see a ShadowClan cat.

Greypawwas staring through the shrubbery at Stormpaw with her eyes narrowed. It could have been scary, you know, with bright yellow eyes staring at you with anger.

Stormpaw swept his icy blue gaze at the border when he noticed the yellow eyes of a ShadowClan cat. He stood up straight, his messy fur making him look bigger then he was, and his badly torn left ear, he had to look pretty scary too. He hissed toward the ShadowClan cat, angry that they had given up to SkyClan, and was no longer trying to unite the Clans.

Greypaw pushed out of the bushes, fluffing up her fur. It was visible she was quite young.

Stormpaw just narrowed his eyes at Greypaw, sitting down. "Hello," he growled, flicking his torn ear. "How is ShadowClan this fine morning?" he asked, but you could see that he wasn't very happy talking to the apprentice, but he had no reason to attack her. She was still on her territory, and he was on his.

Greypaw muttered something. "Fine." she meowed. "Windclan?"

Greyfeather watched within the brambles her fur blending well in the darkness her eye's almost giving way, a growl rose from her throat and her lips curled back in a snarl

Stormpaw just shrugged, his icy blue eyes showing no emotion. "Could be better, but we are going strong."

Greypaw whipped around. "Yes, Greyfeather?" she growled.

Stormpaw froze at that name, and he let out a deep growl. Greyfeather. He remembered her, as she was the one that wouldn't let her see his sister, but he wouldn't be able to see her now anyways that ShadowClan wasn't a ally with RiverClan.

"Don't need to get so jumpy"Greyfeather growled her teeth still bared at Stormpaw.

"Calm down." she meowed quickly. "We may not be allies, but we don't need to act as if Windclan stole a kit."

Stormpaw looked at Greypaw and Greyfeather. "May I ask you something?" he meowed to them, hoping that Greyfeather wouldn't snap at him for saying this. "But how is Dawnpaw doing?"

"She's doing good." Greypaw.

Greyfeather snapped at Stormpaw threateningly.
