He killed one with a blow to the neck and managed to hurt the other one so he found another chance and pounced once again...

Minkfur nodded "Good job!" He mewed with proudness. He smelled a nest of eggs and he clawed up the tree and he looked at the eggs. They were hatching! But he still wanted them so he clawed them, there was four of them....

Minkfur got all the hatch babys before the mama bird came back. He killed all of them and clawed back down the tree. "Luck is on my side today!" He mewed to Brambleclaw. "Let's go find all our prey and bring it back to camp, after that do you want to do more hunting?" He asked.
