Overwhelmed

Ravenpaw layed just outside the camp, enjoying the relaxation from the rest of the clan. Her throughs were filled with all she had already learned.

Stormpaw came padding from the apptrince den, and let out a small yawn. Sure, his mentor was the deputy of RiverClan, and that was a great honor, but his paw was hurting from all the walking he had done yesterday and he just wished that he could be a warrior already and not have a mentor so he could walk on his own time. He laid down next to Ravenpaw, and flicked his tail back and forth as he looked off into the moor. He felt his tail brush against Ravenpaw's flake, and he blushed, his eyes flicking over to her to see if she noticed. He was sure he had a small crush on her, but with all the other apptrinces *shot* he wasn't really sure if he liked her back. There was a lot of other toms for her to choice from, and a whole bunch of them were a whole lot nicer then him. He shook his head. He was an apptrince and he had to keep his mind on training, not who he liked. He could worry about that once he was a warrior.

Ravenpaw purred slightly, smiling at stormpaw. "How are you?" she asked him softly. Ever since she became an apprentice, their training schedules have kept them from seeing eachother often.

"Good, but my paws hurt from padding all over the terriory with Moonfrost," he grumbled, licking one of his paws. "How about you?"

Ravenpaw licked his paw, frowning. "I'm alright. It's just so confusing and it is making my head hurt at times. I'll get used to it though."

Stormpaw nodded, flexing his paws. "Yea, but it is nice to learn stuff about the other Clans."

she nodded, agreeing. "I haven't learned all that much yet. We've only covered hunting, which I suck at."

Stormpaw just shrugged. "I've hunt, fought, and border paroled," he yawned, resting his head on his paws. "But I guess I've been an apprentice longer."

"Yeah, you have." Ravenpaw mumbled, staring out in front of her. "It must be fun, training with the Riverclan deputy."

Stormpaw just shrugged, letting out a huff. "I guess, but it's more like I know more about this territory then her! I just wish that WindClan had more warriors so that we could have mentors from our own Clan. Also, if I had a mentor in WindClan in the beginning maybe Moonfrost wouldn't be my second mentor..."

Ravenpaw licked him ear, frowning slightly. "Well, when you become Warrior, then we will have one. Maybe they'll make you a warrior sooner since you already know so much."

Stormpaw smiled at Ravenpaw, his icy blue eyes showing a hint of warmth behide them. "That would be nice, but I haven't even had my assignment yet!

"You will, soon." Ravenpaw remarked softly. "And then leave me in the apprentices den all alone until the other kits become apprentices."

Stormpaw looked at Ravenpaw and shook his head. "I don't want to become a warrior without you! I'll make sure I at least leave when Butterflywing's kits are apprentices, so you won't be alone."
