Violetkit trotted through the ThunderClan forest, her violet eyes wide with awe and amazment at the giant trees and all the plants on the ground. Even the birds gave her a shock when they let out alarm calls and flew away with fast beating wings. "I wish I had wings..." she mumbled, gazing at a fleeing bird. "Then I could grab Happykit and fly away. Back to ShadowClan." She began rumaging in a pile of leaves and moss, making a moss ball to fling around. Some of the apprentices in ShadowClan had made moss balls for her and her brothes, the thought made sadness and despair pierce her heart. She lamely battered the ball up into the air, but it got stuck on a low branch of a tree. She began trying to scrape her way up the tree, jumping at odd angles and barely getting a grip on the branches. She finally got to the third-lowest branch, where the moss ball was stuck. "Come... here!" she hissed as she reched a paw out for the ball. She heard a crack. The branch started to sway and she let out a yelp before backing away to the very back of the branch, right up beside the tree trunk. "Help!" she wailed, her violet eyes full of panic.

Splotchfur ad been hunting when she heard a kit cry. She raced to the sound."are you ok?" Splotchfur asked in panic.

"No!" Violetkit wailed as the tree branch cracked even further.

Firestorm had been at sunningrocks when he heard the kit so he ran to the scene.By the time he got there the branch was falling"What happened?"

Poppypaw heard a wail and found a kit "Oh my!" she gasped "What happened here?"

" I found this kit here!"Splotchfur mewed. She climbed up to the kit and grabbed her by the scruff. "don't wiggle around!" She mewed through clenched teeth.

Firestorm sat down"Well smell out the kit's clan scent."he said.

Poppypaw smelt the air, "ShadowClan!?" she gasped "Why would a ShadowClan kit be on our territory?"

Firestorm turned to her"Did you just say shadowclan?"

"What else?" Poppypaw retorted "It's a ShadowClan cat.... you can still smell it on her"

Violetkit growled, but began coughing heartbeats later. "Which territory is this? It doesn't look like home..." Violetkit questioned, sniffing the cats and ground. "I want HOME!"

"Calm down, little one" Poppypaw soothed "Right now you stumbled into ThunderClan territory, we just need you to tell us why you're here"
