Blood Runs

Sarrowsong broke through the thick tangle of underbrush, leaves and twigs falling from her as they floated down to the ground. There was a fox hard on her paws, it's giant snapping mouth clamping shut mouse-lengths from her tail-tip. No! No! I can't die! StarClan, help me! she yowled silently, and kept running, her green eyes shut tight. Then it all happened. The fox's jaws had clamped shut on her tail tip and wouldn't let go, and kept running with her. She let out yowls of agony and fury, and kept running. Soon her entire tail had been covered in blood by fox teeth. The fox's claws were raking along her flanks with every stride it made, and it's teeth lodging in her shoulders every time he lunged. No!!! she yelled silently again, praying somebody could save her, but she knew they couldn't. She let out a gasp as her pupil almost disappeared, the fox's gaping jaws clamped around her neck, and one set of front claws buried in her chest, the other at the top of her head. The fox let go and ran away, and Sarrowsong lay there, blood pouring from tail, flanks, chest, head, and neck as she struggled to breath.

Firestorm heard her yowls,but when he got there Sarrowsong was bleeding out.

Sarrowsong began to say,"Get...Poppypaw....Silverstar.....and.........Anyone.......Else.." when her head fell to the ground, but she was still alive, her blood-covered chest and stomach moving frantically.

OOC-Could you make a topic in TC Camp getting people to come?

Firestorm ran off in the direction of thunderclan camp for help.

Poppypaw came bounding after Firestorm and found Sarrowsong on the ground, bleeding heavily "Sarrowsong!" she cried "Sarrowsong! A-are you okay?" she panted, still crying "You can't die"

"It looks like a fox's bite,but I can't tell,"he said crouching beside Sarrowsong.

"We have to get her back to camp!" she growled, trying to hold back the tears but still crying

"Poppypaw.....These will be my last and final words, tell everyone that I said goodbye, and I'll watch over them closely. I'll watch you and Graypaw closest. Make sure to tell her what happened at the Gathering." She meowed, her breathing almost stopped. "Tell the Clan that it wasn't an of our neighboring Clans. Tell them that it was a fox. I don't want to the Clans to be wrongly accused." She smiled faintly. "I'm still the peace-keeper I've always been." She then lay her head back down, and her breath stopped, and her body went limp, and she started growing cold.

"No... Sarrowsong..." she started crying even more "Sarrowsong! You can't leave!" she ducked her head down

Firestorm couldn't stop himself from crying"Come on."he said"Lets get her back to camp."he said picking up Sarrowsong by her scruff.

Poppypaw followed Firestorm wearily, she couldn't stop crying

"Don't worry one way or the other that fox is going to pay,"he said through a the fur.

Poppypaw couldn't stop crying "I should've been with her! If I was this would've never happened!"

"This didn't happen because of you,"he said pushing her to go on.

"But if I was with her this wouldn't have happened: Poppypaw growled, her face covered in tears
