In the sarrow...

A yowl echoed though the cold night air, and then rubble of rocks echoed after it. The unbelievable had happened. "No!" Badgerfang let out a cry as she fell off of the edge of the gouge. She quickly sent her paws out, and grabbed the edge of it, trying to hang on for dear life. "Hel-help me!" she yowled into the empty air as she tried to pull herself up, but her bad leg wouldn't let her do it and she was already weak from not eating. There was a scraping of claws as Badgerfang lost her grip, and she fell from the side of the gouge, and into the water. She fell into the water with a yowl. She sank deeper into the water, the stars disappearing from her view. StarClan...help me... she thought, as she tried swimming in the water, but her back left leg flooded in pain, she had hit it on the way down. One thought echoed in Badgerfang's mind...why? She wanted to breath, but she knew there was no way she was going to get into the surface of the water. She floated though the water, as everything became darker. Why... was the last thing she thought before everything went black, and her body became limp.
