Icekit comes back from doing pretty much nothing...

Icekit woke up from her nap and stretched out her legs, letting out a long yawn. She hopped over her mother and bounced out of the nursery to have a look around. Then, seeing the wide open space, she decided to run around. After a minute or so, she ran face first into the fresh kill pile. He head was stuck, and she couldn't get out. She started to yell for help.

Shadowstar padded out of her den with a big yawn. She had just woken up from a restless night only to find Icekit's head shoved into the freshkill pile. With a small laugh, she walked over to the kit, grabbed her by the scruff of her neck and gently pulled her out of the heap of dead animals. "Are you okay?" She asked with a small chuckle as she put Icekit down.

"Yeah, I think so..." Icekit said, shaking the debris off her head.

"Good!" She replied with a small flick of her tail. "You need to be more careful when you're running around like that."

"Yeah..." Icekit said. She glanced at the entrance to the camp. "Shadowstar? Can you show me around the territory please?" She asked politely.

Shadowstar blinked at the kit before she studied her closely. Upon getting a good look at her, Icekit was rather large for a kit-- the size of an apprentice from what she could tell. After thinking for several moments, she nodded. "Yes, but we must be careful. You will stick close by me, won't you?"

"Of course!" Icekit said. She was rather exited, but her face barely showed it.

"Okay, good!" She responded, already heading towards the camp entrance. "Now, off to adventure!" She yowled happily.

Icekit smiled and hopped after Shadowstar. Exiting the camp, her eyes wandered every corner, but she kept close like Shadowstar instructed. She wanted to explor from every tree to every snake hole.

As they padded out into the territory, Shadowstar glanced around to see where the two should go. She didn't want to take the kit to the borders yet because who knows what would happen there. After trying to think, she finally glanced down at Icekit. "Here's the territory! Isn't it lovely?"

Violetkit, who had watched the kit and leader go out of the entrace, was curious of what lay away from the safe camp. She stalked them as quietly as she could, until she tripped over a small rock and let out a loud yelp. She quickly, well she wasn't that quick since she was only born recently, darted into a bush, hoping that Shadowstar wouldn't see her. She began to quietly make her way back to camp throught the bushes. Shadowstar no see, Shadowstar no see, Shadowstar no see! she told herself in her mind until she was sure Shadowstar didn't see.

"It's amazing!" Icekit squealed. "I can't wait until I'm an apprentice! I want to see everything!!"

Greypaw followed the kit and looked at the young one "what are you doing out of camp?" she demands.

Icekit saw a small mouse. She gasped, seeing her opportunity to impress Shadowstar. She crept up to it, and akwardly pounced on it.

Shadowstar laughed at Icekit before immediately turning back to see Violetkit and Greypaw. She quickly opened her mouth to say something.but stopped. She couldn't get onto one kit when she just took another one out of camp. "Greypaw, its fine. Violetkit is with me," she mewed.
