| Sarrowpaw skidded to a halt from her mad dash away from camp. She was now in the depths of ThunderClan's territory, her tears pouring down like a tyrantal storm. She saw a bramble thicket, ferns furled up above it. She walked and crouched under it, placing her paw on a mouse as it skidded by, smashing it's spine. "Luck for a medicine cat apprentice.." she murmured between her flow of tears. She didn't eat the mouse even though she had caught it, and she began to sit and wait for a long time. The mouse had grown cold, though still edible. Tears continued to stream down her face in the sun-high light. ______________________________________  Art credit to Grey. |
