Another Attempt at a Hunting Patrol

It was at the crack of dawn when Shadowsong padded out of the warrior's den. The cooler air of Leaf-fall brushed through her dark fur, chilling her slightly. Shaking out her pelt, she took a glance up at the sky to see light gray clouds covering the it in every direction filled with water just waiting to rain. With a light sigh, she then padded first to the warrior's den and then to the apprentice's den. "I need cats for a hunting patrol. Let's go!" She meowed to them.

OOC: Why are all the hunting patrols and border patrol and stuff in different topics?

OOC: a lot of it's just for certain apprentices so that they can go ahead and get their training done, but this kind of topic is for absolutely everyone. SO THEY NEED TO JOIN D:

"I'll come, Shadowsong!" Goldpaw offered, stretching his lean limbs and padding over to the clan deputy, his golden pelt just washed. His gold eyes sparkled with the excitment as he already began to imagine the sweet smell of fresh kill. Suddenly he was in the marsh, leaping on a mouse that was grazing. It faded quickly as he snapped back to reality and smiled at Shadowsong.

"May I come along and look for herbs?" Asked Tawnypaw,padding out her den

Scarletpaw energetically rolled out of the Apprentices' Den. "I'm definitely coming! I need more practice!" She was too excited to actually notice how big the party was starting to get. Her ears perked up as she noticed another apprentice whom she known so well. The apprentice padded over and acknowledged his presence with a smile.

OOC: It's me, right? :D

BIC: Goldpaw smiled at Scarletpaw, a warm feeling flowing through his body when he saw her. "I think we have a good amount of cats for a hunting patrol." He announced dipping his head to Tawnypaw, and standing beside Scarletpaw.

ic: Scarletpaw sat down next to Goldpaw firmly. She gave a nod of agreement and watched Shadowsong. "I hope you can handle 3 apprentices on your own!" she meowed.

Goldpaw licked Scarletpaw's ear and the warm feeling inside him grew stronger. He sat down and began to wash.

Scarletpaw tail flicked. She waited for Shadowsong to decide their departure and she joined Goldpaw in washing.

Shadowsong looked around at the three apprentices before giving each of them a large smile. "No amount of apprentices are too much for me to handle," She replied, swishing her tail through the air with a new-found energy. "And yes, Tawnypaw, if you would like you can come with us. No medicine cat can go without herbs!" With that, she turned around and padded out of the camp.

Goldpaw got up and bounded into the forest happily, purring.

Scarletpaw followed them, her tail high. She enjoyed the scents of the forest. Every chance she got, she went over to a flower and smelled it.

Goldpaw stopped in his tracks. A toad was right ahead. Yum! Goldpaw stalked the frog, light on his gold paws. He leaped and killed the frog swiftly, burrying it to come get later. He was proud at the kill, even though it was easy.
