Thunderkits day

thunderkit just woke up. He was in the nursery. he saw lots of other kits in the nursery. he asked one of them if they wanted to play. he said yes. so they scampered oot of the nurery and started to play wrestle. they played that for a while. then Thunderkit got hungry. he went over to the fresh-kill pile and took a small vole. he went back to the nursery and started to eat. Thunderkit started to get tired. so he curled up in to a little ball and went to sleep.

Flamepaw stuck his head into the nursery. "Hey Thunderkit. There is a moth outside. You should test your hunting skills."

"Speaking of which," Bluesky said her head popping into the nursery. "Why don't you guys come with me outside? I've injured a mouse enough so it won't run away so you guys can practice. How does that sound?"

thanks Bluesky. Ill go practice. Thunderkit ran over to the injured mouse and started to fight. he stalked it slowly but his tail kept making sounds because of the leaves. The mouse tried to scurry away but its injury made it run slow. Thunderkit dashed over to it and gave it a swift blow in the neck. then he bit it and it died. HE ran over to Bluesky and told her he killed it.

"Good job!" She praised. "Flamepaw, why don't you get another mouse to practice with."

Im going to put this mouse on the freshkill pile. Or you could have it bluesky

"I'm not going to fight an injured mouse. I'm going to kill a real one" Flamepaw ran off and came back with a dead mouse.

wow you are a really good hunter

"This is nothing. You should see me hunt fish." He laughed. He dropped the mouse and ate it.

OOC: Er...Bluesky...I don't think you should be teaching kits how to hunt, especially on a poor injured mouse. That's disrespectful to the prey.

Flamepaw, can you bring back a fish and we can eat it. Ive never eaten fish before

Flamepaw smiled. "Of course." Flamepaw ran to the river. He dived in and came back with a huge catfish. He placed it in front of Thunderkit. "There."

Thanks. Thunderkit said, and took a huge mouthful of fish. This is delicious. He said. Then he took a few more bites and told Flamepaw he could have the rest.

"I'm glad you like it." Flamepaw said smiling. "Are you suire you don't want the rest?"
