Lost Kit [Any SC cat]

A small figure stumbled over, and landed into a mud puddle. He spat the mud out crossly, and kept moving. His stomach growled, and he groaned. Where's mommy? He thought miserably, shaking his fur off. "Mommy!" he cried out, tail dragging along behind him like a limp tree branch.

Shadowsong had been out in the territory doing a little bit of hunting to give herself some time on her own. As she lightly stepped through the territory, she heard the small kit's cry and darted towards it, hoping that none of the kits had escaped from camp. She slowed down to a stop when she saw the tiny stranger. "Well hello there. Are you lost?" She asked.

Raven backed away, putting on his best hiss. "Get away from me!"

Tawnypaw was in the forest collecting herbs when she heard a small mew from somewhere.She padded until she reached the area from where she had heard the cat,and then seen Shadowsong and a kit."Who is this?" she asked

He flattened his ears and slowly began to back away, holding a tiny snarl.

"Hello there,little one" Tawnypaw mewed sweetly

The golden tabby kit's fur was on end. Although he looked as if brave, he was scared deep inside. "Who are you?"

"Im Tawnypaw" she mewed calmly."Whats your name,young one" she asked

Raven relaxed a bit. This Tawnypaw seemed friendly enough. "I'm Raven. My parents died.."

The Shadowclan deputy glanced over at Tawnypaw before turning back to the kit. She felt terrible for him being left out alone in the world like this. "Well, I'm Shadowsong," She purred softly as her motherly instincts kicked in. "Would you like to come with us? We can give you a great home."

The tabby kit's eyes flickered with interest. "A home? Is there food?"

She nodded happily. "Yes there is. Plenty of it too!" She mewed. "You will fit right in, Raven."

Tawnypaw nodded."Yes! You will fit right in here in Shadowclan!" she purred

Raven shrugged. "I guess that's okay with me." He flattened his fur and stood straight.

"Do you want us to bring you to our camp?" she asked
