Kits are Playing

Lionclaw mewed to the kit "Pinestar is my mother. And my name is Lionclaw" he than meowed "My father was Mudpuddle but he went to Starclan when I was a apprentice."

Pinestar nodded. "Yes, he was a brave cat. Tigerfrost murdered his father in leaf-bare. It was terrible.." she murmured.

"oh! i didn't know that..."

"Neither did I, I'm very sorry at least you have your son to comfort you for loss." Fuzzykit said respectfully. "Your very nice Lionclaw, was your dad exactly like you?" Fuzzykit asked.

"I'll bring them to the middle of the territory. I'm sorry for your loss Pinestar, Lionclaw would you like to join us on a hunt?" meowed Darkblood.

Pinestar silently looked at her paws. "Lionclaw, surprisingly, doesn't look at all like either of us. Except he gets his stripes from his father, though.."

Moonkit sat eagerly as the other cats talked. Come on! Theyre so slow! She thought!

"maybe we should go soon." icepaw mewed. "I can see that moonkit is eager." she purred.

" Yes!" Moonkit gasped. " Sorry, I've never been out of camp, so I really want to see the territory." She said quieter.

"Oh yea thats right, before dad died he said I got his mom or dad's color" he meowed. "But I do have your short fur unlike him who had long."

" Are you going with us?" Moonkit asked Lionclaw.

"Um sure, maybe I can show you a shallow part of the river but its long and the current makes pretty strong waves. Do you think you're strong enough to go in. You don't even have to know hot to swim yet for it, just be strong."

"I'm strong! I promise! SHOW ME!" Moonkit said excitedly.

"well, i guess we'll be going then!" meowed icepaw, controlled excitement in her voice. "see you later pinestar! Or are you coming with us?"

" Well I love water, SOOOO doesn't she have to stay at camp all the time to watch the clan. I f she didn't don't you think that everybody will go wild and have fun and do stuff they're not supposed to?"
