Icefather and rosepaw look for Silverpaw

"Pinestar," Rosepaw called. "Come! Now!" She had a feeling this was important. Just then, she had another vision.

The familiar black she-cat, whispering something, a prayer for a lost friend. "StarClan, a noble warrior and true friend has joined your ranks tonight. Everything is for a reason, but her time here was short. Cherryfern, I hope you're happy where you are now." Another vision, a few nights later, the young cat recited similar words. "Cherryfern, you were the truest of friends. My only true friend that I knew I could count on in RiverClan. Your time here was short, but may your spirit live forever in the stars."

Returning to the current time, Rosepaw was crying. Crying for Icefather, for cherryfern, and Hollywhisper.

Flicking her ear, Pinestar leaped down next to her two friends. She pressed her nose into her flank. "Why are you crying?" she whispered softly into her ear. She looked down at Icefeather and felt a chill go up her spine. "Will she be okay?" she asked, her fears starting to come to her.

Icefeather opened her eyes hearing familiar voices,adn meowed"P-pinestar."

"I think so," meowed Rosepaw. "I'm still quite new at this, but I managed to find all the things I needed."

Pinestar looked back at Icefeather. She flicked her tail over her mouth. "Don't speak." She didn't want the warrior to waste her breath. She closed her eyes. Why was she out anyway? I wasn't listening.. what did she say? Something about Silverpaw.. Silverpaw... why was she wondering where she was? She IS in the Apprentices' Den, isn't she?

Icefeather closed her eyes ,and began to brethe slowly trying not to waste her breath.I'm glad Pinestar is here,but did'nt I tell her to go to Riverclan camp? Icefeather thought to herself.

"And what you said before," she said, as if she read her mind, "I just can't leave both of you out here alone..."

Icefeather winced,but managed to say"y-you need to for th-the clan."Icefeather stopped and then began to breathe again.

Pinestar looked away. "I thought you were my Clan, too." She gazed up into the sky. Oh, StarClan.. we need you..

Rosepaw sighed. "Everyone musst be wondering where we all are now."

"Well we can't go back there with kittypet collars," she pointed out promptly, "and this Twoleg stench. Won't our Clanmates be a little suspicious? How should we get these metal collars off?" Her ears twitched and she stared at a puddle of water.
