My poem

You look in the pond
You see things of hate
Blood, ruin, saddness and loss
A voice wispers ”this is your fate”

You lash out at the water
Your hand turns red
But when the murk clears
It’s visible again

You jump up and run
From the demons of despair
You try not to listen
Saying,” Go away, It’s not fair”.

You stumble and fall
Tears streaming from your eyes
They get closer, and closer
Buzzing like flies

There’s a bright light
A bang an a boom
You look up and gape
At the being in the room

An angel,
Wings the color of snow
Even her hair looks powerful
A soft brown flow

She out stretches her hand
You take it and feel love
You look down at yourself, your rags
Now plumage from a dove.
