Shadowsong was partly on a border patrol, partly on a search for some peace and quiet away from her clan. All the commotion caused by Jaystar's death was irritating her. I know he was a great leader, but-- her thoughts were suddenly interrupted when the faint but fresh scent of a Skyclan cat could be smelled in the air.

She stared at Heartstar for a few heartbeats before speaking. She had wanted to be respectful to the leader, but her aggravation got in the way. "I don't want to talk right now." She growled.

She sighed heavily. "Well, I'm not in the mood to talk." Her claws unsheathed and dug into the ground as her annoyance started to build. It was bad enough she had to deal with her own clan, but now she had to deal with Skyclan too.

Dragonsoul jumped out of a tree and landed next to Shadowsong. "Shadowsong, whats wrong?" she asked. She looked up at Heartstar and dipped her head in respect "Heartstar, perhaps you can leave us to talk, it\'s not exaltally nice to have another clan's leader watching us." she mewed
