Sneaking off.....

Angelclaw woke up at dawn, her mossy nest was cold and messy, so was her fur. She got up silently and tried to think, Do they hate me now? She sat down and began to ask herself more questions, Why am I evil? What makes a cat evil? Has someone made me evil? and Have I made myself evil? But when she thought about any of those questios one thing sprang to mind. Should I leave ThunderClan? She got back up and creeped out of the warriors den. She breathed in the fresh air and began to plan things. I will leave, for a day to a moon, she told herself, And come back again. I hope they wont hate me. I have to tell some one about it..... She wondered who to she should tell. Maybe the next cat she saw, maybe the second, maybe the fifth?

Snowclaw streched and stiffled a yanw.She padded out of the warriors den "Hello Angelclaw" she whispered,trying to not wake anyone else

"Snowclaw! Just the person I wanted to talk to," she whispered padding up to her friends. Her fur was matted and untidy and her red eyes glowed like fire. "I need to tell you something. Can you keep a secret?"

"Yes of course I can!" she mewed "What is it?"

"I'm going to," she paused, then began to continue again, "Leave ThunderClan."

"What?!?" she mewed,trying to keep her voice down "Its your choice" she mewed "I cannot change it" she mewed thinking about what would happen if she tried to stop her

"Not leaving for good, just for a few days," she explained, then began to continue, but in a much quieter voice, "Or maybe forever. I don't know yet."

"You can't leave forever!" she blurrted out

"Well, I most likely won't," she mewed, even thought she knew she might. "I just.... Don't know. Blackraven made a great offer. But I'm still unsure. I'm just taking a break from Clan life."

"If you want to go,leave soon" she mewed "Everyone will be awake soon" she mewed.She heard rustling from a den

"I..... yeah. I'll go." She mewed, the stopped, "If I don't come back in a moon, go to the Thunderpath, I will be waiting. Oh and...." She mewed as she heard alot of noise from the Warriors den. She froze.

Deadfrost slid out. His eyes were concerned. "Angelclaw..why would you want to leave? I didn't train you for nothing."

"I..... I just don't feel right anymore," she mewed, looking at her old mentor. "It's like I belong somewhere else. I want a break from Clan life."

Deadfrost was still for a moment. "Angelclaw." He looked deep into her now red eyes.
"Clan life is hard. Everyone knows that. Ask Leopardheart. Ask me. But you just have to endure it. Things may seem impossible sometimes, but they aren't as long as you have friends to help you along the way. I'm saying this now, and remember it. Do not run away. I didn't teach you to run away; think, Angleclaw. Does a warrior just give up like that?"

"I'm not giving up," she hissed, "I just want to stay out of the way. I'm evil." She sighed heavily.
