Fallenpaw's Boarder Patrol.

Featherfall walked into the apprentice's den. "Come on Fallenpaw, we have a Boarder Patrol with your name written all over it." She said to her son.

Fallenpaw opened his eyes, and stood up, stretching his legs. "O-okay." My first patrol!

"What boarder do you want to go to?" She asked walking out of camp.

Fallenpaw hesitated. "RiverClan...please." He din't bother to mention ThunderClan; clearly his mother wanted nothing to do with his father.

Featherfall nodded and started to head that way. A gush of wind blew the stench of thunderpath and ShadowClan mixed towards Fallenpaw and his mother. "Do you smell that scent Fallenpaw?" She asked tenderly, opening her mouth once more to be sure there was a faint trace of ShadowClan.

Fallenpaw let scents from all over the moors flood into his jaws. Rabbit, mouse, soil, heather..and a rank stench. One he'd smelled on an apprentice named Cherrypaw before. He wrinkled his nose. "Is that RiverClan?" he asked, looking up at his mentor.

OOC: where not at the boarder yet, and a wind brought ShadowClan scent over.

Featherfall shook her head. "It's ShadowClan." She said shortly.

OOC: Oh xD

IC: Fallenpaw closed his jaws. "Well, they don't smell to good." He nearly tripped on a clump of heather. He cursed and continued walking. I'm so clumsy.

Featherfall light laid her tail on Fallenpaw's shoulder as he walked , making sure he was steadied. "Yes, they don't smell very good." She admitted. They continued to walk till they had reached the Boarder. "Stop here." Featherfall said.

Fallenpaw stopped abruptly.

"What do you smell now?" She asked.

He sniffed, and recoiled. "RiverClan, I'm guessing?" Fallenpaw sat down.

Featherfall smiled. "Yes, that's RiverClan." She purred.

The white tom flattened his ears. "They're worse than ShadowClan," he muttered.

Featherfall nodded. "They do smell like fish." She said wrinkling her nose. "Now, you need to mark the boarder, like this." The deputy said, marking the boarder and walking back a bit.
