New Leader

Bramblestar stood on the jaggedrock "Let all cats old enought to catch their own prey, join me here for a Clan Meeting." he shouted.

Ebonypaw sat near her den, already knowing what was coming.

Demonpaw padded out of the apprentices den and watched Brambleflame?.

"Jaystar, has died." He mewed sadly. "He will be welcomed in StarClan. I am your new leader." He mewed, looking at Jaystar's body in the middle of the clearing.

Flowerpaw looked on sadly at her d leader,and he new leader

Demponpaw stiffened when she heard Bramblestars words and did not allow herself to look at Jaystars body. She sighed And why dont I feel sad?

He looked around, thinking about who he should name for the deputy...

Stepping forward, she padded up to Jaystar and gave him a quick, formal farewell; And stepped back to her spot.
'Who will be deputy now? she thought.

Demonpaw swallowed hard, then asked the question she wanted to know. "Bramblestar, since you are now Leader, who is going to mentor me?"

He stared at her... "I will," He decided.

Blizzardpaw was about to walk out until he heard Bramble's words. He closed his eyes and sighed. He walked out over to his sister, nuzzling her softly.

He hopped down, and sat.

Demonpaw stiffened slightly. Midnightpelt had wanted someone else to mentor her, but she knew she could go farther with Bramblestar. She nodded and smiled at her brother.

Blizzard smiled at his sister softly, wanting her to feel better. "Bramble is a good mentor..." He said, softly.

"I don't dooubt that, I doubt myself." Demonpaw told him.
