Hemlockfox sorted through his herbs, shoulders tense as he cut a nervous glance towards his newest patient, Nectarflower. She was sleeping now, but only because of the poppy seeds he'd given to her after changing her dressings. When Larchpaw had dragged her into the camp, covered in blood and half-dead, he wasn't sure she'd make it, but she had a fighting spirit and managed to pull through...for now. Truthfully, the odds of one of her wounds getting infected was pretty high - especially since she'd been dragged across the territory with disgusting dog saliva in her injuries before being treated. Regardless, she was fine now. Hopefully, it would stay that way.

With a tired sigh, the seal point tom pushed a collection of goldenrod stalks into his stores, pleased to finally be done putting everything back where it belonged. In all of his days as a medicine cat, which weren't really that many, he'd never seen wounds quite like that. Well, except for Tigerstar's - but he hardly counted it since StarClan healed him almost instantly. Perhaps this clan was filled with birdbrains, though. SkyClanners hardly ever had accidents like this.

An unfamiliar scent pulled Hemlockfox from his thoughts. It was a WindClanner, that much he was certain of, but not one he'd had the displeasure of meeting. With a soft groan, the medicine cat lifted his head, blue eyes narrowed. Great StarClan - what was it now? Had another cat been mauled? Or perhaps gotten crushed under a boulder? Let it at least be something interesting and not terribly taxing. He'd already had his paws full with little miss fights-dogs-for-fun.

He'd trusted his sister with his life and the last thing Molehill wanted to do was go to a medicine cat that wasn't Daisyfang. After some careful consideration though, the plump tom had come to the conclusion that he'd waited long enough and needed some-cat's help, and soon. From his days as an apprentice his eyesight hadn't been anywhere near perfect, but over the past few moons his vision had grown considerably worse to the point that now every-cat close to him as well as standing far away were now mostly blurry blobs. It made him wonder if his sight would always be like this, if there was a cure, or... if it would become even worse.

So here he was, standing in front of the den that was once his sister's, reluctant to enter. She had always kept the space so clean and organized, and he hoped this new Hemlockfox fellow did the same, or at least respected the area considering it was fairly new to him and all. Taking a deep breath, the round brown warrior stepped into the dimly lit den. A wave of blood-scent and herbs hit his nose like a Monster and he remembered that Nectarflower was resting here due to her wounds. He'd have to be sure not to disturb her.

Turning towards the seal-pointed tom, Molehill couldn't help but get the sense that he wasn't welcomed here, similarly to how he felt whenever he tried to spend time with his discourteous father. Well, healing cats was this tom's job, so perhaps he was just being paranoid about it all.

"My... my eyesight is getting worse and worse," the warrior started softly, not quite knowing how to start describing his dilemma.

Hemlockfox stared blankly at the round cat that approached, his mind turning almost sluggishly before he finally recognized the tom as Molehill. He'd had pretty much no interaction with the chubby warrior and, frankly, had been content to keep it that way since his sister was Daisyfang. It was bad enough living in WindClan as an outsider, he didn't really appreciate the sideways looks from her kin that came with it. Regardless, if something was wrong, it was his job to fix it. So, with a disgruntled frown, Hemlockfox turned to Molehill, ready to listen.

Simple enough. Poor eyesight wasn't anything terribly uncommon. Sometimes, it was just some debris stuck in the eye or maybe a small surface wound. Should be easy enough to tend to. With a flick of his tail, the fluffy tom urged Molehill closer and leaned in to get a better look at his eyes. "It might be an injury." He meowed after a moment. "How long has this been developing?" From the looks of it, though, this was more than just a scratch. His eyes were cloudy, for some reason, almost like a fog had settled over them. Was it a disease of some kind?

He tried to recall Smokepetal ever telling him of such a thing, but couldn't remember ever learning about this sort of thing. It was like a film had formed deep inside of the tom's eyes...he'd never seen anything like it. However, Hemlockfox didn't let his face betray him and simply turned back to his collection of herbs to retrieve a few leaves of celandine. It helped with damaged eyes, but if this wasn't actually caused by an external force, he wasn't sure it would help much.
