Honeydew T3 Warrior | SkyClan Deputy | she/her
Honeydew greeted the dawn patrol as they arrived back. Things were quiet today in the forest. A calm before a storm. The deputy stared out into the forest suspiciously, flicking her tail. SkyClan needs more warriors. The she-cat strode at once across the clearing and leaped up to the tallbranch.
"May all those cats old enough to climb trees gather beneath Tallbranch for a clan meeting!" Honeydew called, casting her voice out across camp. A certain kit was ready to become an apprentice, and the sooner the better too, Honeydew thought. The deputy couldn't seem to shake the feeling that something was about to happen, and they had to be prepared. Her eyes sought a particular pelt coming out of the nursery - one of her uncle's kits, and her own young cousin. The darkness that plagued Honeydew's heart lifted a little at the memory of her own apprentice ceremony. It was a special day to be celebrated, and she refused to let superstition cloud the mood.

icicles don't soften when they die; they sharpen into sabres and they stab you in the eye;
Between the bustle and kit chatter in the nursery, Icekit faintly heard a call from outside. It was Honeydew, calling for a Clan meeting. Icekit pushed her way out of the gaggle of siblings and padded out into the open to join the rest of the Clan; it was time for her and her siblings to become apprentices at long last. The only question was, which one? She sat down near the front and peered up at Honeydew expectantly.
Honeydew's eyes locked on the approaching kit and her tail flicked. A smile crossed her muzzle. This one knows what's going on, she noted. She will make for a quick-witted warrior one day.
"SkyClan, it is time yet again for a new apprentice to begin her warrior training," she announced with a brief glance towards the tight knot of SkyClan apprentices before landing back on Icekit. "Icekit, please step forward. You have reached the age of six moons, and thus it is time you became an apprentice. From now until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Icepaw. Your mentor will be Ambersun." Honeydew's pale blue eyes sought the crowd, reaching for the familiar eyes belonging to Ambersun. At once, she flicked her tail in a silent gesture for the new mentor to approach.
"Ambersun, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You received excellent training from Ravenclaw, and your experience in the wilderness has sharpened your senses. You have shown yourself to be resilient, strong and determined. You will be the mentor of Icepaw." Honeydew took a step back so the new mentor and apprentice could share their moment. "I trust that you will teach her all you know."

The newly named Icepaw dipped her head towards Honeydew respectfully before turning to greet Ambersun. She didn't know Ambersun, only really familiar with her siblings and her parents and the other kits, but she was open to meeting new cats now that she was an apprentice. As long as they didn't get in her way.
"Nice to meet you, Ambersun," she mewed, tail lashing. "When do we start?"
