Poppyshine


It was a rare day where Poppyshine felt slightly more lively. The fog was more parted and she felt like she could breathe a little easier. She took the opportunity at its fullest then and sought out an apprentice she hadn’t spoken to in a while. It was not too hard to find Lightpaw and her heart warmed. The apprentice really did hold a kind of *lightness* that he was named after. It was easier to feel joy around him.

“Lightpaw,” Poppyshine called as she approached. “I was thinking of going for a walk around the territory. Would you like to join me?”

Lightpaw

i see the light that's shinin’ on me;
it's been waiting for a long time for me to see;
Lightpaw's ears pricked and he looked up from where he was idly scratching marks into the soil, eyes wide. Poppyshine the deputy wanted him? Eagerly, a smile spreading over his face, he leapt to his paws and trotted after her. "Oh, of course, Poppyshine! I would love to...!"

He followed after her out of camp, blinking curiously. "Um, did...did you need something from me? Or just wanted to chat...?"
